The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) exists to help people living with disability access disability services.
We are registered for the following services under the NDIS:
- Assist Personal Activities
- Assist-Life Stage, Transition
- Assist-Travel/Transport
- Daily Tasks/Shared Living
- Development-Life Skills
- Group/Centre Activities
- Household Tasks
- Innovation Community Participation
- Personal Activities High
- Specialist Disability Accommodation
This means that you can get these services from us for much cheaper than you would otherwise, as NDIS Toowoomba provides funding so you get the services you deserve.
In order to be eligible for NDIS funding, a support or service:
- must be related to a participant’s disability
- must not include day-to-day living costs not related to your disability support needs, such as groceries
- should represent value for money
- must be likely to be effective and work for the participant, and
- should take into account support given to you by other government services, your family, carers, networks and the community.
